Ukrainian Egg Decorating (Pysanky) Christmas Ornaments

Back by popular demand, only this time for Christmas! Join Barbara Toner who has been crafting detailed, traditional Ukrainian eggs for many years. Eggs make beautiful keepsake ornaments.

Japanese Book Binding​

Saturday,  January 10 (Snow date January 17), 2026 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, $25

Have you always wanted to make your own books and then bind them with intricate stitching. Learn how in this workshop with Park Laflin, who currently lives in Tokyo. Participants will make multiple books using a variety of paper and other found materials. All materials will be provided.

Join instructor Angela Auger on a journey in paper making using a wide variety of products...yes, even including denim!

Layered Crazy Quilts â€‹

Sunday, March 15 (snow date March 22), 2026 12:00 Noon - 2:00 pm, $25

Instructor Angela Auger has been making crazy quilts for many years, incorporating doilies, hankies, velvet, and embroidery stitches to make a one-of-a kind quilt.

All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring additional special objects to incorporate into your work of art.

Woven Willow Sculptures â€‹

Saturday, April 18, 2026 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, $25

In this workshop, you'll create a decorative heart and star from basket willow, a sustainable and beneficial shrub that provides endless creative possibilities. You will learn the basics of flat and random weave techniques, which can be used for many other simple, earth-friendly projects. No experience is necessary. 

 

All materials will be provided. This workshop is taught by farmer and artist Shana Barry.
